Shiretoko Five Lakes
These five lakes are nestled in the virgin forest with the Shiretoko mountain range in the background. The lakes are a habitat for many wild animals, and visitors can experience the richness of nature in Shiretoko. An observatory overlooking the lakes and a walking trail around the lakes have been established.

Shiretoko Nature Center
The Visitor Center is located in the Shiretoko National Park and World Heritage Area. There are exhibits that show the splendor of Shiretoko's nature and the importance of protecting the natural environment, as well as powerful videos on a large screen.

Shiretoko Pass
This is a 738-meter-high mountain pass on Route 334, which connects Shari-cho Utoro and Rausu-cho. It crosses the Shiretoko Peninsula, and is also called the "Shiretoko Crossing Road. On a clear day, it is also a viewpoint from which you can see Kunashiri Island and Mount Rausu. Closed in winter
